A delicate magnolia branch painted by hand onto a natural oyster shell, celebrating that brief moment when a tree seems to burst into flower all at once. Soft blush pinks, fresh greens and warm earthy branches sit against the shell’s natural pearlescent surface, allowing its texture and irregularities to remain part of the piece.
Each shell is individually collected, cleaned and painted by hand on the Mid North Coast of NSW, then sealed and mounted in a white shadow box frame.
