I’ve always been drawn to the coast, the colours of the landscape and the small details found in nature. Growing up in Newcastle, NSW, some of my earliest memories are of wandering the shorelines of Stockton Beach while Dad fished, collecting shells and little treasures along the way.

That connection to the coast still runs through much of my work today. I now live on the Mid North Coast of NSW, between the ocean and the beautiful Wallis Lake, creating original acrylic and watercolour paintings along with hand-painted shell art. Much of what I make is influenced by the landscape around me — the changing skies, muted coastal colours and local Wallis Lake oysters which also feature throughout my shell art.

My work is created slowly and intuitively, with each piece developing through layers, texture and experimentation. Whether it’s a large atmospheric painting, delicate watercolour or a tiny shell dish, I want every piece to feel individual and considered.
